iCatch Office Relocation to Point Loma

March 19, 2018

Point Loma Peninsula

iCatch Marketing has recently relocated from the Pacific Beach area of San Diego, to the Point Loma peninsula, another beautiful coastal community along the San Diego shores. Located west of downtown San Diego, you’ll find the popular local favorite communities and tourist attractions Point Loma, Harbor Island, and Shelter Island. The region of Point Loma is a hilly bluff with an estimated population of 48,000 and is surrounded by the San Diego Bay, Old Town, the Pacific Ocean, and the San Diego River. It is historically significant as being the landing place of the first European expedition to come ashore in present-day California, known as “where California began.”

Things to Do

Point Loma contains a national cemetery, two major military bases, and Point Loma Nazarene University, as well as residential and commercial areas. Two major landmarks are the Old Point Loma Lighthouse and Cabrillo National Monument, where you can check out the rugged pacific coastline, tide pools teeming with little creatures, and maybe even catch a glimpse of a whale. For waterfront entertainment, Humphreys Concerts by the Bay are a popular activity and for one of the best places to watch the sun go down, a panoramic view from Sunset Cliffs is a must. There are also three yacht clubs, multiple surfing spots, half a dozen small boat marinas, and the largest sport fishing fleet in Southern California. The Naval Training Center, now known as Liberty Station, is a beautiful waterfront urban village located only a few minutes from our office. Full of art and history, it showcases hotels, shops, museums,  galleries, breweries, restaurants, and events, with the popular Liberty Public Market stalls offering prepared food, beer, wine, crafts, and pastries.
